I'm gettin the same problem but it occurs as I get to the "log onto which user" screen so I can't do the whole start, run shutdown -a command before it forces the shutdown after the timer has finished, a new problem as well has started when I get to the "Windows is starting up" screen where it loads for about 5-15 minutes, lets me log in and then goes to a blank screen with just my wallpaper & i'm unable to use any other command.
