Stencil help

Ok, so I'm modding a case....

I want to put the attached picture on it, spray paint, not big, maybe 5" square or slightly smaller.
Does anyone have an idea of how I could accurately cut out the green so I can spray the green picture.
Obviously I can use a scalpel to painstakingly cut it out but does anyone have a better, more accurate way of doing it?

 

The green radioactive liquid dripping?:-D I wouldn't even bother it will not look good unless you can detail paintwork as good as an artist with reflections and shading.

A more preferable way for me which I've used on replica smoke grenade I made is to print out the design then stick it to your case, then spray over it with car lacquer spray paint which will put a nice shiny coat over everything.

After a few coats the edge where the paper is stuck down is barely visible making it look like a spray job.

Hmmm shading, did not think much about that until you now said.

Dammit that would look good too in the idea I have for it, maybe I'll cut the stencil and test it on an old piece of case, actually I was going to spray it onto the piece I cut out anyway, and then flush it in. So I could go ahead as planned and if it doesn't work I can just do something else.

Edit: I did actually think about over painting on purpose to make it run and then very carefully wipe excess, excess off which would (theoretically) thin it out around the edges possibly giving it the shading type effect.

 

If you go for the stencil shading route you can buy these cheap little air brushes from hobby shops,basically just a glass pot of paint which you connect a can of gas to instead of a compressor.
