sticky modem

    jarcher I can't handle a title

    ok. .I know that this is gonna make me look like a dumb arse
    but. .


    I spilled juice all over the place last night
    and in got into my modem
    and now it will not work
    no lights no nuttn

    its a sprint 645 dsl

    I pulled it open
    and there is no visible damage
    but the board is a bit sticky

    what can I clean it with
    that wont eat the board

    something householdish
    if it can. .

    what about lighter fluid
    for zippo's
    would that be bad

    Yes, it would. It could dissolve some plastics. Rubbing alcohol (91%) will work or go to Radio Shack and get electronic parts cleaner.
