Still Having Problems With Justanimedubbed

So i'm still having problems with new tabs opening up on justanimedubbed whenever i try to start a video. However justdubs underwent a change in their site, and all issues i was having with it vanished. I still need to fix the issue of the new tabs opening on justanimedubbed, but please don't suggest that it is malware, if you do i'll simply ignore the comment. If i thought it was malware i would have taken this to the malware forums.

 

Is the site you are referring to hxxp://justdubs.tv/ ?
If it is, then clicking to play a video results in a popup.
Which browser are you using and are you using an adblocker?

 

Originally justdubs.tv created a new tab anytime a clicked on the page, the issue stopped when the site underwent a layout change. Justanimedubbed on the other hand still creates new tabs whenever i try to play a video, adblock isn't able to stop the new tabs from opening but ublock sometimes does block the tabs from going to the designated site, even if it doesn't prevent it from creating a new tab. Maxturner kept saying that malware was causing it despite the fact i kept giving a good reason why it couldn't be malware. Stubbornness is all well and good, but not if it ends up causing stagnation I eventually gave him a second good reason why it wasn't malware, but it didn't stop him from suggesting it was malware. Now i have a third good reason for it not being malware.

 

Strange - both websites work just fine for me - without any pop up or new tabs. I can play anything, on either website, in Fx latest version in the the one window.

 

Try temporarily creating a new browser profile and install just Ublock Origin and see if the issue still persists.

You didn't mention which browser, but if Firefox, refer to the following article to create a test profile

I will say this after justdubs site changed it's layout my issues regarding the new tabs being created whenever i clicked anywhere on the page ceased along with it. It's pretty clear the problem was something else. Justanimedubbed still creates new tabs when i click on their videos. Let's hope they undergo a site layout change to. To be clear max only firefox, icedragon and chrome are having issues with justanimedubbed, internet explorer and microsoft edge don't have new tab issues with the site. I'm under the impression this problem is caused by the fact that i use those three browsers all the time whereas i rarely if ever use internet explorer or microsoft edge.

 

Got an article that doesn't use the run command to open firefox profile manager. Run isn't opening the profile manager for fireox, it just keeps opening a new firefox window instead even though im doing it exactly as they said.

 

That will happen if Firefox is still running. Check in Task Manager and end any instances of FF that are running.

If you click on the lower bar ('close ads and play video') it WILL open in a new tab. But NOT if you scroll down and click on the video.
There was nothing wrong with this site when I tested it weeks ago when you first posted, and there is nothing wrong now.

 

Not to interfere too much into this, but when I click on either of the 2 videos on a page. I get a popup for a few seconds that then goes away after a few seconds and then closes and the video starts playing. Minor nuisance for me, but, I don't need to watch anime on a website like that when there are dozens of better choices out there. I also have uBlock Origin installed and use chrome.

In the Specialist Malware Forum thread you started, you stated (having decided not to post any logs) that it was all down to Adblock.
If that were the case any of use who also use Adblock would see the same problem. But we don't.

 

when i said that i believe if i remember correctly that the video player ddidn't work when ad block was not installed and thus because the player didn't work or seemingly was reluctant to work there was no new tab.

 

are you sayinng that you get a new tab opening up when you click close ad and play video?

 

this site http://7deadlysins.tv/ also has a video player that opens new tabs but only one of them so far actually does it the video player on the left most side is seemingly the one to do it every time. The second from the left doesn't give me any isues though the ones after it don't work so i couldnt say whether or not they create new tabs.

There's more to that site but i have no idea how to access their anime directory.

 

That website didn't produce any popups/tabs for me.

Both sites and videos still load fine for me with adblock enabled.

 

Maybe it's just certain video players then. Not every site gives me this problem. Watchcartoononline for example doesn't open up new tabs. Youtube never gives me this problem though recently it has had playback issues. Some vids consistently stop at a certain point despite being loaded. More than likely a separate issue.

I wonder what cause these particular video players to do this. Cause it's not the sites themselves that are doing it.m Just the video players.
