Still Kickin'

Hi to everyone!! It has been such a long time since I have been able to visit the forum. With interning at school and looking for work has left no time for playing But, I do want to update everyone!!

I have been interning at the computer school that I went to since July. I not only built some computers but the director asked me to help in the business office, so I did that for awhile. I have also been helping my husband with his work (Hedge funds) and that has kept me busy as well.

In October I made a trip out to Seattle as my brother had a devastating house fire. My sons rent a portion of the house from him so I was on the plane the next day and stayed for a week to get them settled into a rental. They were shaken up but they are all ok.....although unfortunately they lost their 2 precious dogs It was some trip and certainly made me take a look at how quickly things can change ones life!!

My sons flew in from Seattle for the Christmas holiday and it was so wonderful having them here with us They for sure keep me on skates

I have started interning at a school district here in South Jersey. I am working with the communications director taking care of the school districts website. I have to learn my way around a Mac so that has been an accomplishment in its self!!!

There you have it in a nut shell....been busy and still unemployed!!

Hi Kathy! Great to see you again! :wave Yeah, sounds like you have been busy for sure, and hopefully the paying job part will pick up soon. Glad to hear your brother and sons are OK, and yet sad about the loss of their pets

I know how only a few seconds can change one's life forever, and you don't even see it coming.. I don't want to repeat my holidays we just had, so hopefully this year will be better...

Agree with the others. Good to see you back in action for a while.
Sorry to hear about your familys house and loss of their pets.They become like family after a short period of time, so is a great loss.

 

This is spooky, I was just wondering about you a couple days back. Sorry to hear of the fire and loosing pets, glad everyone else is ok. Sounds like you have been busy. Nice to hear from you :wave
