I downloaded a file from my mp3 player and burned it to a cd. The CD will only play about 15 minutes of a 50 minute seminar. I contacted Nero to see if they could assist and here is the response: just to convert the files to *.wav, please create an audio cd and add the MP3 files. they will be converted to *.wav by adding.
Nero only provides a 30-times trial version for the MP3/mp3PRO plug-in as Nero procures this feature from a third party.

Do I understand this correctly? My Nero program cannot burn the complete file downloaded from my mp3 player to my computer to CD. That is why only about 15 minutes of the file audible. Do I need to get a program that will burn the complete file in *.wav? It isn't very clear to me. Any ideas as to what I can do to be able to hear the entire seminar?

Are you playing this cd on a normal cd player? Or on a computer?

I tried it on both, in fact on computer, mp3 and cd player. I am so confused now. For awhile I thought it maybe my burner but after the email from nero now I don't know.

Just try a different program to burn it. It sounds like it might possibly be a pre-set limitation by the third party.

If on computer, and you have an .mp3 player installed, you should just be able to burn the .mp3 file directly onto the cd and then play it.

If on a cd player (not on your computer) that can play .mp3 files, then you should be fine.

If on a cd player (only reads red book. a.k.a. only cda, not mp3) then you will need to convert it to .cda, which I thought Nero could do.

Have you tried windows media player, to convert to .cda?

I don't have an mp3 player on my computer. I never tried to play mp3 on it.

It won't play completely on the mp3 player only about 15 minutes of a 50 minute seminar.

The same on the cd player. Only about 15 minutes. I receive the burn error in Nero 6 when burning the file in the wav format to cd

So, it plays all 50 minutes on the portable .mp3 player device you have, when you copy that .mp3 file onto your computer, does it play all 50 minutes?

I'm pretty sure the plug-in is for just for the MP3 Pro format. You

Here is the Lame 3.93.1 plug-in for Nero, in case you actually need an MP3 plugin in addition to MP3 Pro: http://www.bitburners.com/Software/...coders/Nero_Audio_Plugins/LAME_MP3_v1.0.0.32/

I can listen to the file on my computer. When I burn it to a disc part way through the burning I receive an error message "burn aborted". I played the CD and about 15 minutes of it is audible then it goes silent.

I couldn't open the nx.dll file. I get to the audio plugins and I cannot open the file to load the file
