    Hi!
I chose to enter on this forum because I saw posts about my problem and they were solved.
So all started a couple of days ago when a program deleted some registry keys and windows didn't boot anymore. The error was unmountable boot volume.
Today I tried system restore but I could go only to feb 2012. I didn't have more recent points. Weird.
I said I could try but when system restore said finished I pressed restart and it said the process was not completed. I don't know what that means but after reboot the error changed.
STOP: C0000135 the program can't start because %hs is missing from your computer. And it says I could try reinstalling it.
    I have 2 questions.
    1. What's %hs?
    2. So what do I need to install?
I tried to guess the problem. Tell me if I'm right and if I'm not please help me repair my laptop.
So far I could guess something like system restore actually worked but going back to 2012 might have been too far away from the present?
Also I run Windows 7 home premium 64bit on Asus N53SV laptop.
I cannot enter in safe mode.

    Sweetblue...

Looking into this in various threads around the internet. Seems that the problems is a fairly serious one. I am continuing to look around, and I will probably have more, but, for now, the Kaspersky rescue disk has been reported to help with this problem. See here:

    http://www.sevenforums.com/general-...-hs-missing-blue-screen-no-avg-installed.html

You will have to burn the disk, which can be found here:

If you don't have an installation disk for your version of Windows 7 (Home/Pro/Ultimate and 32 or 64 bit), I recommend going here to download the correct .iso for your version, which you can then burn to DVD have should you ever need one:

If you can burn the Kaspersky disk, I have seen it resolve a number of problems like this. Please let us know how it goes, and I will be looking around for other options...
