Storage Partition Drive Failed On Test

Hi I have a Lenovo 330 Ideapad Windows 10 12 gigs memory. I am not sure what is going I just know my computer is slow and I ran a test in my Lenovo hardware area and the partition storage drive failed.. So I will post the pic I took to help you maybe understand the situation better.

It seems that smart status shows as ok, but , also, showing 3 x Smart problems.
At this stage, I would suggest a replacement might be your best bet.
Any Smart test failure could mean all sorts of problems, so , I would advise replacing it, and making a drive copy, using Partition wizard, or similar programs, before it fails.

A replacement of the harddrive? Everything seems to be working fine on my computer. Is there a way to repair it some how?

 

Okay I also ran powershell to see if the harddrive is failing and it is says it is not. Also ran in Command prompt it says harddrive is not failing so not sure what is going with the Lenovo test.

 

It does seem a little weird, as in one instance it is saying that smart tests failed, then says ststus ok.....

As it seems updates can reconfigure this partition, it is possible a cause of the Smart confusion.

You may have visited that last link, but, (as I gather you tried powershell ) just in case .

Okay well it turns out the drive has failed so I am sending it into Costco because it is still under warranty. Thanks for the help thought.

 

I just hope you manage to replace it before it failed completely- Pleased to have pointed you to the right area, but sorry that I was right (costs money, and we all at Mojorgeekd try to save you money)
