Started to post this in Hearth and Home, but Lounge might be better.

I have had this issue off and on since I moved here. Usually once a week, sometimes once a month, but today, almost every time I try to use the Kitchen sink...

The water works great, then makes a strange noise, kinda like a hissing noise, and poof, water cuts off. Sink will work after 15 mins or so usually. Will happen with the hot or cold water, more often when both are on.

Air in the lines? :confused Any ideas besides call a plumber? Because I know what will happen, he will get here, sink will work perfectly until he drives off. :-D

Yep the system needs bleeding to get the air out but you got to do it with the heating and hot water turned off because all you do if you do it with it on is work against the pump ! ;)

Does it do it anywhere else? Or is it just in the kitchen sink?
