Strange appearences

    Hi All
    Do not know if in the right place here , not sure where else to go .
    Recently switched to network when turned on laptop and found a new grouping called "Phone" of which there was one , I have no phones attached to my laptop . The first time the phone was a HTC the second time the title said OCCAM . After about 30 seconds these phones vanish .
    Does anybody have any ideas please ??.

    We can check your PC for malware if you wish, but it sounds to me like you are probably have a wireless connection and are picking up other networks, wi-fi hotspots...etc. Phones can generate hotspots.

    Thanks to chaslang for sorting my prob . never thought of this so panicked when I saw phones appear on my network .
