Not so long ao, my wife and i (router networked machines) starting to get a message saying cant connect, try again or work off like message, upon pressing try again it would then browse with no problems.

However now, the message still appears but now we cannot access our homepage google.co.uk at all.

I have followed the sticky thread and have done as requested, nothing has been found, im at a loss to understand what the problem is. Neither PC' appears to be slow (there high spec machines though), average ms response times vary around the 16ms mark but the fact that there is something clearly wrong somewhere is niggling away at me, and i would like to resolve this with your help before the problem becomes worse.

Screenshots and logs attached for your review

    Kind Regards

That is not how the sticky requests a log for Panda to be attached. Please try Bitdefender again. I fixed the link in the READ & RUN ME. They changed their website which broke the previous link.

I don't think your problem is malware! You should powere cycle the below:
    - your DSL or cable modem (whichever you have)
    - your router

Then you should flush your DNS cache. Here's how:

Go to Start > Run and type in cmd
    • Click OK.
    • This will open a command prompt.
    • Type or copy and paste the following line in the command window:
      ipconfig /flushdns
    • Hit Enter
    • Exit the command window
    Any change?

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now look for and delete the below file if found ( you may need to reboot into safe mode to delete it):
    C:\windows\System32\Narrator.exe or C:\windows\Narrator.exe

You also need to uninstall the below as requested in step 0 of the READ ME:
    Viewpoint Media Player

You are also using MSconfig to control startups which is hiding stuff from us! Step 7 of the READ ME specifically requests that you set your PC for Normal Startup!

    Thanks Chaslang.

The problem seems to be ok this morning as i powered off everything last night before bed. I applied the reg tweak as suggested and removed viewpoint anyway.

    Thanks again.

You're welcome! Did you also locate and delete the narrator.exe file or was it already gone?
