Strange coding on various websites

I am not sure if I have a software problem, virus or hardware problem. When browsing, a page will come up which looks like this:

This is actual text I copied and pasted! What is it?? Help please . Is this something to do with encoding? I've ran virus scans, spybot and Ad-aware and everything else and it is still going on. Thanks for any help.

 

When browsing?

You mean via an internet search engine, and what site are you browsing for?
Does this occur when browsing for a particular site, or for all?

 

This happens via IE using Google as a search engine. Regardless of whether I'm searching for a recipe or a job, this happens. Even the Google website occassionally does this. It does not happen on certain sites, just random, and like I said maybe even the Google site will do this on occassion. Thought it might be encoding, but I'm not that computer savvy to even make that guest. Thanks for any help.
