Strange errors

    Hi,

    Working on a friend's laptop and came upon a strange group of errors that occurred after her Groupon account was hacked in early May. She's getting DNS lookup errors; she's able to surf the net using IE or Chrome for about 10 minutes before these errors start occurring. Her wireless internet showed connected but unable to access the internet; suddenly it would come on. In addition, her touch pad and CD/DVD player are not functioning properly.

    I followed all the steps in the malware removal post, and I have attached the logs to this post.

    Any assistance/guidance you can provide is appreciated.

    Welome to Major Geeks!

    Based on your clean logs, this is not a malware problem. You may want to try using a System Restore point from before the problem began to see if that helps. Other than that, I suggest posting in our Software Forum.
