Strange File Association Problem in WinXP

This problem exists with every file on my computer.


I right click>>Open With>>Choose Program

and im immediataly greeted with the following error:

"This file dows not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

Can anyone suggest a fix?

 

Sorry, its not a single file type that im having trouble with. Its the fact that as soon as i click "Choose Program..." it doesnt open the choose program panel, it just spits this error.

Im not wording things incorrectly or only giving half the details, its actually doing exactly what im describing.

But thankfully I've found a fix:

In short; the solution is to run the .reg file attached.
