strange happenings with Linksys WRT54GL router

Somethin weird is happening, i cannot connect to one specific website while going through my router... I have no problem accessing any other websites, but just one...When I just go through my cable modem, i can reach the site without a problem. I have tried with my laptop on the secured wifi, and also with my wired desktop. I have upgraded to the most recent firmware, and reset the router numerous times. all to have it still happen. I even tried it before i customized any of my wifi settings. any help would be appreciated. one note, i have a pocket pc with wifi, and it doesn't seem to timeout or give up as quick as internet explorer or firefox on a pc, and i think i was able to connect to the site, but it took a few minutes...I have tried to ping (timed out) and traceroute, after about half way (15 hops) it starts timing out...

 

If it is Not a secret which Web Site it is?

Some websites use codes that might Not pass a Firewall.

Usually it is better Not to go to these sites.

just to test it out, i turned off the firewall on the router, and still nothing...i even tried to type in the ip, not the name (.com) and still the same...strange.

 

Contact him again could be that your Router's MAC number was mistakenly Banned.

 

well, now magically i can access the page, and i still have the same ip...i don't know what was going on, but it's fine for now, thanks for the responses.
