Strange Pc Puzzle This???

I have a standard gaming PC, which is about 10 years old, so it does not have bluetooth available on it, nor is it wireless. It is hard wired to the internet in my house. My parnter has an android phone, this phone is not connected in any way to the PC, not linked, not synced, not anything.

A week a go, my parnter asks me is i had viewed any web pages on her phone in Google Chrome, I said I had not, yet when she showed me there were 2 web pages on her phone that I had actually viewed BUT on my PC, through Firefox on google search engine.

So can anyone tel me how these 2 web pages on my PC ended up in her Google Chrom web browser on her android phone, yet neither the phone or PC are lined in any way. The only link is that I do have access to her google email account on my PC bu that has not been logged in on the PC for months now.

SO I am puzzled and she is quite sppoked as to how this has come about.

Any ideas anyone?

I'd guess it's down to using a shared IP address which Google uses to store 'your' history, I'd also guess that it wouldn't have occurred had one, or both, of you had been logged into Google.

Better to use DuckDuckGo and avoid the spying, esp. as Google's 'results' could have got you into trouble.

 

Google now saves your search history but you have to turn it off through google settings Or do what Satrow suggested use a search engine that does not save your search history.
