    Hello

For the past several days everytime I log on to your website, Malwarebytes keeps popping up to warn/alert me about a particular website it has blocked. This does not happen on your software landing page but only when I click on a page describing a software I want to check out. The information in the warning is always the same. I have taken a couple of pictures of the warning which were done on different occasions in case you want to look at the actual warning as it appears. The other strange thing is that although Malwarebytes indicates that they have blocked the intrusion when I look at their report on this it says that the website blocked was guides.uufix.com yet the pop-up warning indicates a website called sping.mystart.com was blocked. I find this all very strange and especially since it does not happen on any other website I visit. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
    Thank you

sping mystart com is the malicious website.
Make sure MBAM is fully up to date and just go on with your day.

If you genuinely have any suspicions of malware on your system, go to the Specialist Malware Forum and complete the read and run me first guide at the top, then post in that Specialist forum - not here.

    Yes show us the pictures.

Also give us the name of the program or the URL to the program that you were trying to download.

    Hello Again
I am sorry for this delayed response but I have been battling with a mysterious problem with my desktop running Windows 7. All of a sudden I kept getting a black screen after it would boot up and the windows logo would appear and in addition to this my cursor was visible. I could not get into safe mode at all and every so often when I was able to get into the auto repair mode it was unable to fix anything. The other most frustrating bit was that the keyboard would not function either. This is not the computer I use to visit your site I am usually on my laptop when I need to research anything on MajorGeeks. Anyway, I have managed to get the computer to at least run in such a way that is at least accessible and I can now work on it to try and repair some remaining problems. To get back to the issue of these strange warnings I get from Malwarebytes (I have a permanent paid version) - I still seem to get them as soon as I do a search for a particular program from your start page and click on the link I need to go to in order to view the details on it or download it. while I am being directed to the page with the program I am looking for the warnings starts to pop up and I get at least 2 warnings. But if I want to click on a link that exists at the bottom which may have a link to another program that interests me it does not flash any warnings - This is still going on. The warnings come up on any program there does not seem to a particular one that causes this strange event. One of the warnings more constant than the other is something called sping.mystart.com and the other one is reimageplus. I am uploading 3 images and a couple of reports in .txt form from Malwarebytes for your reference.
Am I making sense to you? I can often sound a little convoluted when I try to over simplify explanations to a problem.

    Hello Again

Many thanks for your help. I followed your advice on reviewing what was going on with Malwarebytes and had been having some issues with it not running at full mast. For some reason, the "Exploit Protection" function refused to go on. Mind you this only happened halfway through the time I started to get the strange "warnings" notice. I just could not get it to switch on. I didn't think it could make such a difference to the way the protection level operated as it is a new function from memory. And I guess I am not clear on what "Exploit Protection" guards my laptop against. In terms of updates, it was otherwise all updated as I checked this and I had, in any case, created an updated schedule for the software. After your advice, I wrote to them and was waiting for them to get back to me. I got an auto-generated response letter apologising for any response delays from their side as they were currently dealing with an overload of customer problem-solving requests. The email also directed me to check out various areas of their websites that could perhaps provide answers to my problem. I did as they suggested and still no direct contact after a few days of trying to work out why "Exploit" would not work based on what I saw on their website and nothing working I uninstalled Malwarebytes and reinstalled it. Exploit started to work after this action.

I waited a day or so for things to settle - not sure if that is something to do but I did anyway. When I visited your site I found nothing had changed! I was really annoyed by this time, because to me and I am no techie (although with all the trouble I have managed to resolve on various software issues I think I may be getting there  ) these annoying popup warnings implied there was something wrong with your site! I find that quite offensive:mad:. I was also quite dismayed by this unchanged situation as I have spent a number of days working on my desktop with Windows 7 getting it to boot into Windows as it had an MBR problem and a virus issue - I really didn't want to spend more time problem-solving so soon. Anyway as of yesterday something has changed and that pop-up has now stopped. I have tested it every which way on your site as it was only happening on your site and its all good :) - fingers crossed nothing pops up anymore. I can only presume the Malwarebytes program has addressed the issue.

    Thank you again
