Strange Windows "Magic"

I've tried 'em all, and they're all very strange. #2 only works if you don't press Enter after typing the text and before you save it, but it does work which is really, REALLY weird.....

 

This has appeared in MG before, a while ago.
As explained in your link, some of it relates to ye olde DOS (pre-Windows) commands.

Strange how the old link gave me different results multiple times, yet the URL stayed true . Tim W and Just Playin got results I didnt see . Very odd .
