    Wenchie I R teh brat

    I need a hug.

Huge finacial stress. Applied for a $6000 loan to pay my bills, doubt highly I will get it without a co-signer. Have no co-signer.

Home stress heap plenty. Stock in Pucker would soar, were not i broke.

Mom will not come to Daughter's Birthday party because Father will be there. Poor Kay, adults are so immature.

Need a job yesterday, can't work until September. Wish "get rich quick" scams really worked, because I need to account for $3,300 to Social Security that i borrowed to get by, and could not repay. (it was part of the $6000 I applied for)

I wish I were rich and didn't have to worry. I wish It were tax season again. I could sure use my return right now.

Just venting. Really need/want that hug.

    *thud*

Wenchie...really feel for you right now. I've been there and wondered regularly where the next meal was going to come from. I still don't know where abouts you are and if I am anywhere near. If I am I will come and GIVE you that hug. Meanwhile though....*Hugs* :)

    Big hugs to you wenchie.

Have heard money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure would help some days.

Take care and know I am thinking about you.

Big hugs Wenchie and you know we are all thinking about you.

please do the leg work and see if you qualify for food stamps, energy assistance, rent assistance, etc... I dont know about New York but contact your township supervisor , county board etc... and see what is available. If you belong to a Church dont be afraid to ask for help.
There is help out there if you just know the right people to ask.
Good luck and keep a good sense of humor we all need it these days.
    :) :D

Is that wise? Are these bills utility and rent, etc? Or are they high-interest loan or credit card debt? If you're trying to take out a loan with a small interest rate to pay off a high interest rate credit card, thats smart. If you're talking about borrowing money to pay utilities or rent, things will only get worse.

Why can't you work until September?

    Here are some suggestions...

    1. See a credit counselor (the state-funded non-profit type, not the ones that want to give you a loan). These services are wonderful. Years ago I was in so much credit card debt. I went to one of these services and they were able to actually get creditors to reduce or drop any interest owed altogether. They helped me create a budget and a payment plan, and within a couple of years I was debt free.

    2. Call the phone/elect/gas/landlord, etc and explain the situation. You'd be suprised at how understanding they can be if you explain your situation. They will actually work with you and give you some leeway. You may find out that you actaully qualify for some special programs for low-income families. Electric comapnies have programs like these, especially in the summer. Try this - call your phone company and explain to them that you have trouble affording your bill, and want to know if they have any reduced rate plans. I'll bet you'll get a reduced rate right on the spot.

    3. Learn to live without. Drop your cable, cell phone and yes...INTERNET. Especially if you have broadband or DSL. If you must, Netzero and Juno have $9.95 dial-up rates.

    4. If you pray, stop. There is no god. This is totally up to you.

    5. Get a job. Seriously Work is work. My brother is in a situation where money is tight, and he can't find a job. Well, he has actually found plenty of jobs, all of which were beneath him! Whatever! I'd scrub toilets if it was my only means of earning money.

    6. I assume your little girl has a father. Track him down! Seriously, find him and take him to court. This might sound odd coming from a guy, but it kills me how guys can just have a kid and then not want to help to support it in any way. If he is alive, find him and sue him for back-pay. They will garnish his wages. There are some programs for this sort of thing too.

    7. Freelance. I do websites on the side. I begin working on sites around 10:30 pm when everyones asleep untill about 2 a.m. I don't get much sleep, but I'm making extra cash, and it doesn't interfere with my regular work (except for when I fall asleep at work) and my time with my son.

There are plenty of programs for helping people get back on their feet. Just try not to borrow from Peter to pay off Paul too much (did I say that right?) Try not to destroy your credit, because some day you will get out of this.

Anyway, be strong. You'll get through it. Just don't be too proud or bull-headed. Be smart enough to know you need help. See if you quailify for welfare. There is something called WIC, but that might be for people with real young kids, like babies.

I owe 7 creditors many amounts of dollers all at high interest and 3 threatening court.

The bank knows me, they know what i do and dont have, the interrest isnt that bad and I plan to pay it off ahed of time, but for me only having ot remember one payment is leaps and bounds above trying to rember 6.

They haven't gotten back to me yet though, i really need them to like yesterday.
