Stubborn Malware I cannot remove

    This started yesterday, not sure how it got on my system. Pops up with windows security alert for spyware[type-b]. It is a fake alert, Protect and the list of recommended software send you to a website (I think it is spyware protector 2009). Attached is screenshot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I deleted a bunch of files and the problem now seems to be fixed. Thank you for your time.
