Stubborn Spyware

I have tried everything to get rid of the spyware! I read and went through all steps of the Spyware Removal Tutorial and even tried Hijack This. The same problem still persists...there are five icons on my desktop that refuse to go away. They are: Casino Online, My Antivirus Update, Tune Up My PC, Find a Date, and Cellphone Ringtones. I am also still getting random pop-ups and there is a Search Bar that has added itself. All it says is "Search" and then beside the search box are tabs.... "google", "advertising", "business", "language", "programs", "images" and "news". The tabs change when I go to a different site.
