    Hi,

I was installing Nero and had to restart the computer. I did so, but then the computer go stuck in a reboot cycle. I don't know aht I can do to checnge this and it's not easy because my desktop has a Korean version of XP, which I don't understand. The only way to start XP properly was to select "boot in safe mode" (I think that's how it would read in English). This is rather annoying, to say the least. Any idea what I can do to make everything "normal" again?

In safe mode, select the system restore (it is found under programs/accessories) and restore it to a time before Nero was installed.
If possible, you might also try to unintall Nero while booted into safe mode.

First, I'll try to uninstall Nero.

Actually, I am not sure, but I think I already did a restore. Is it possible somehow the computer would ask me for a restore by itself without me having to select that option? I think that's what happened (I mentioned my XP is in Korean... but not me!) at one point and I selected the restore point prior to Nero's installation, but it didn't do any good.

Hopefully, removing Nero will solve my problem, if not, then I may need some help to know exactly where to look for the restore point options because I doubt I'll "guess" that easily with my Korean XP. If I can get some help from a Korean, that'll be best, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen any time soon.

Anyway, I'll do my best and let you know what happens.

Thanks for the pieces of advice, though, I really appreciate!

Ok, so just as I thought, I did do a restore with a restore point about 2 hours before installing Nero. I know for a fact that the restore worked because I was downloading a movie at the time and the file was smaller when I returned after the restore.

Anyway, I tried removing tNero, but there's a problem and I don't know what because of the language problem (XP in Korean), so I'm waiting to have someone do a bit of translation for me tonight or tomorrow. Every time I tried to uninstall Nero, I got a message telling me something about in which mode I had to do it or something like that. Even when I tried a different safety mode (actually, without networking connection) I got a similar message, so at this point I really need someone to translate accurately.

At least, and truly unfortunately, I know that doing a restore isn't the solution. :(

I finally got hold of someone to translate the message I got when I tried to unistall Nero and it says something like uninstaller cannot be activated in safe mode... but if I don't select safe mode then my computer is stuck in a reboot cycle... so any idea how I should remove Nero? Would deleting the folder be a good or a bad idea? I was tempted to do tat, but then I thought it might ruin my chances of truly unistalling Nero.
