    Hello guys,

I was just wondering if someone can give me an advise on what to do here.

My computer recently broke down about a month ago, we had no idea what was wrong with it so we experimented on it. We change power supplies, ribbons and cables, swithces and things, and also the motherboard. After all the experimenting we found out that it was the ribbon connecting the power switch to the mobo that is faulty. so problems done, so we thought.

My brother though, who ordered the motherboard, didn't return the mobo back to dell within thirty days. according to him there is a money back gauranty within thirty days. Procrastination, stupidity or just loss track of time, he forgot to return it. So now here I am stuck with a brand new 8250 motherboard which I completely do not need. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what steps I can take...maybe get if not all, some of my money back.

One option I thought was sell it on eBay, but I found nobody else selling any Dell mobos' there, so I thought there must be a reason. My mobo has 1 year of warranty on it. I do not know what else to do...pls help.

i dont know about getting money back but you can probably give it to a local computer shop or someone your know who works on computers.

or you can just keep it. you never know when you might need it ;)
