Study Leave, any of you lot remember it???

So here it comes, the last hurdle - the GCSEs and I'm now officially on study leave!

Great life, it's 10am and I've just woken up, might do a bit of work in a bit in preparation for my first exam next thursday! What are you lot doing today?

 

Yeah, go study leave! I just finished the second year of my degree! Been on study leave since Easter, now i'm finished for the year. Holidays until October! woohooo!!!!

 

I got my study leave revoked this year, at least till half term. I skipped a games lesson.

But yes I remember study leave this time last year. That was fairly hillarious. "muck up day" today, Senior Management team was prowling the school all day to try and prevent any trouble, but while I was doing my chemistry mock a whole class was evacuated from a terrapin (temporary classrooms) by a SMT member, not sure why but it was a year 11 class so who knows

I know last time I got in a bit of trouble .... 5 people nearly got suspended last year!

 

5? I know seng and leo for the smoke grenade in the terrapin, but that's all.

For our one next year goldy, alex is thinking about driving his tractor in and parking it in the SMT's spaces

Study leave? STUDY LEAVE?

Eee by gum our kid...when I were at school we didn't get study leave. Ecky thump....you'd go t'school, work 7.5 hours, come home and geet studying reet through t'night. Ahhhhh sitheeeeee....kids today don't know they're born. Wait while you leave school and get a real job!

Today...I be mostly sitting on my butt hehe. Have to go collect my son from the airport shortly and then I am taking it easy

 

ARgh! I hate AS Levels! My first exam is on Monday... and it's an important one.. ARGH! Three next week.. and my study leave doesn't start until after those 3.. Grr.. Stupid schools

Where you don't need to come into school except when you have exams. The premis is that you study at home. Haha ... like that happens regularly.

I have an exam on monday, practical physics! EEEK! I just know I'm going to measure somthing wrong, like try to measure current with a micrometer or somthing.

Yes, it was 5 i can't remember who but someone was using an aerosol can as a blowtorch.

 

Meh, we all nearly get suspended at one point, mine was for starting a food fight at lunch in the canteen, was great fun

Sorry to dig my thread up, thought I'd let you guys know that I got 6 exams this week wooo!!!!
Science this afternoon, maths (non calculator) tomorrow, english language and graphics on wednesday, history on thursday and last english language exam on friday!

Then only 3 to go after that, so I can't wait for saturday hehe!!!

 

psssh, 'science', back in my day, we did chemistry, biology and physics, not some odd mixture =p good luck with the exams, I hope youve spent your time wisely

 

sorry halo, not quite as old as you I need the luck! ive given up revising for maths for now.. and the exams tomorrow*sob* im starting politics, which ive neglected for too long

Lol lucky, what exams were you taking?

 

AS Levels Like Goldy and Sizjam.. But their school is nasty and mean and steals the easier exam boards and so they all get amazing grades and we don't... That's my excuse anyway..
