Stupidest eBay Auction EVER!

Sorry, made too many posts to get this on.

 

As mentioned, personally "I have had no experience" w/Ebay. Have been acquainted with a few who have sold items - was "led to believe" (consequently don't know for absolute certain) that:

- seller pays a fee (percentage of purchase price),
- purchaser ?"has to register w/Ebay"?, listing acc't. info. of how they are going to pay ie: Cr. Card No., etc... prior to bidding AND
- Ebay collects the $'s, cuts you a cheque or direct deposits $ to your account, for their fee.

Hulk,not absolutely certain of above details. Get the FACTS ... phone, register w/Ebay as a prospective purchaser if you have to! Then I'd be inclined to really go after them (Ebay) first:

- what is the status of your account re: the sale,
- what are they doing (for you) to 'earn their fees, etc...

They will work with or for you but you have to lodge a dispute and since no monies have been exchanged not sure how aggressive they get. The bidder has the right to back out but I thought you need to file as to why, then it's offered to the next highest bidder. I have purchased a couple items that way myself. The seller contacted me after the high bidder changed their mind.

Realize people Bid just to force the price UP, but always thought the last or highest bidder, whether interested in the item or not was stuck w/payment & product. Obviously not ... my, my, shows how disallusioned I am by the whole process .... c/have 30 bidding, yet not have a 'sale'! Hmmmm, very bad odour to this. Feel very sorry for Hulk & only hope that 'samthefunkymonkey' receives his 'just desserts', in multiples! )

 

FYI BladesofHalo: I just confirmed with my bro' that he did file a report per that URL above. That's about all you can do ... hopefully the karma gods will straighten it all out in the end.

I get soooo angry at people like that Sam W*nker even though i know Karma will get him back for it, it still makes people judge good people and not trust others
my partner and myself have a buisness on E-bay and we have not let anyone down before and dont plan to in the future either and anything we've brought we've alwayz payed within 48hours

also my brother-inlaw sells and buys lots on E-bay and is very trustworthy
I know many People like that and im sure you all are or all know plenty yourselves.

If you dont stop the creeps they get away with it and then they get some poor other person and he will because he got away with it the first time so he thinks he'll get away with it the next time......IT SUCKS!

its the same with murders and pediphiles and everyone else in the life of crime.
Dont wait for Justice to come, YOU are the Justice and if the Law justice comes around Well good that just means we got the b*stards twice.

and the more us good honest people stick together the better for the world

@Darlene-yeah thats the part that sucks

i love life and i dont want anyone to spoil it for me, my family or anyone elses for that matter, i truly believe this is going to be a horrible world for our genarations to come if we dont do something now while we've still got a chance because the goverment changes so often we may very well wake-up tomorrow and not be a free country/s anymore

its time for a little guts, hard work and alot of butt kickings from us good people and let theses Jerks know that we mean buisness and that were not going to let us and our families be bullied, riped off, raped, murdered or anything else for that matter,
if everyone just did a little bit each it would work and help heaps even though it might feel like your little bit wont help it does
its kind of like the stone soup story where there are good people who are poor and only have a little to eat so a man comes along and puts a stone in the pot and gets everyone to put in just one bit of food each and they do then they all eat soup which last them till the winter is over....and the moral of this story is: that if you all stick together and help each other out its all going to be alright and that if you all put a bit of food in (JUSTICE) it will become a thicker soup (WORLD) and we'll fight through the winter (Law breakers)...i hope i havent confussed you'se

Not at all (confused me). It's a wonderful theory, trying to get people to stick together is next to impossible though. I've been around for some time and have beat my head against the wall countless times. It's hard to understand why people don't realize what they can accomplish by banning together. They do from time to time but to keep on is too much of a bother I guess so they (we) eventually roll over and things go back the way they always have been. I truly hope young people like yourself will make a difference. I hope there will come a time when future generations say, "can you believe people actually put up with that?"

PS- thank goodness for spell check or you wouldn't know what I was saying.

 

yes i know it is almost impossible to change the world,
but....its people like you that made me think "Hey you know what, there are good people out there look at this web site for example none of the MG's have to help people with there computers or life problems but they do it anyway just cause they can, now even though a lot of people don't see it that's another one of gods miracles
And if people like me and yourself just give up then who's gonna give us hope or lead the next generation into battle (well you know what i mean...i hope)

i know i sound young and naive but at least at the end of the day i can say i tried my best' so i don't go to my grave thinking i didn't try and Ive let my children down' after all that's all we can do "is try our best' at least that's what I've been taught.

Gotta agree with what was mentioned earlier about this seems to be happening a lot lately on eBay and they really don't seem to mind at all, it is about a 2 month process to file an un-paying bidder and get credit for that, in the meantime they will bill you for the final price of the item. I have gone through this several times with them and they really aren't interested in the sellers anymore.
