Subforums gone?

Hi, it's been awhile since I checked into this site. Didn't it used to have a LOT more subforums, including ones for Linux? What happened to them?

A little while back the owners consolidated the forum sections. As I understand it the reason was to make the site more streamlined and easier to navigate – especially for new visitors.

I like it very much. I think it’s a much more logical and clean layout, and things are much easier to find.

 

Alright, thanks for the explanation. So, Linux questions go in the Software subforum then, I'm guessing?

 

That is my understanding, yes, for linux software questions.
