Software review.

I have been wracking my brains lately to figure out how to turn a video on flash video format into something useable to the rest of the world. Found Total Video Converter. Nice software, didn't find it here tho, so I submitted a review

So what your saying is this total video converter program turns any video to flash? What exact files does it/can it use, and turn them into?

Actually, it takes flash video (.flv files) and will turn them into other media formats, MP4, Cell phone format, IPod, etc. It also will convert them to audio only (MP3 or WAV).

I have run my spy/mal ware scans several times since install with no ill effects noted (and yes, I updated them before scanning ) I like this for pulling down vids from YouTube or MetaCafe and such and then converting for personal use or for audio only. I used it to snag a neat mix of a song that I saw in a performance on YouTube and it worked AWESOME!!!

Mind you, I have not done the extensive testing that MG does, but IMHO, this is a nice little piece of software.

PS: I would ahve to go back and look to see if it can turn regular vids into .flv files... wasn't looking to go that way before
