get into the router, the admin page, and see what's going on.

ensure all wireless types are ok and enabled
if MAC filtering is used (more secure from outsiders) double check all the entries

you may have to set up the router again, using a reset button and not just restarting the router, then use set up cd/program for the router and follow the directions (adding in mac addresses if needed)
in other words, make a clean slate of it, dump what the router knows and start fresh

search here for other clues too,

thanks but im notgood with all this terminology. what is
MAC and how do u get into the router and the admin page? im sorry about this but for each you tell me to do could u please give me step by step instructions and tell me what i should be looking for? sorry for my novice skills but u would be so much help and appreciated.

also is there a reason for this happening? like could my internet been taken away for something wrong ive done on the net? or is that even absurd to think about?

You will need your user manual for your router to look around.
You should be able to get it online from the manufacturer.

Have you checked the cables to know if they are plugged in correctly still? Like someone moved it and didn't get it back together right?

Some others may have a better solution...if some might chime in?

Was there any changes to the router just before losing it's connectivity?
