U-Verse blames PG Music's site so I emailed Support. They gave me a different address to try. Same problem. My aide did a complete reset, no help.

Possibly pay-dirt! Tech Support at PG Music traced it to a problem with THEIR ISP resulting in a digitally open line. Their ISP has been notified and it will be resolved tonight.

I sincerely appreciate all the help received here. You folks and folkesses are tops. :drool:drool:drool

Still no joy but here's the message from PG Tech Support. He is very competent and he will ride it down for me.

    Hi Don,

Thanks. I can't ping your ip either, and I'm using a different ISP than our website is on. In fact I tried it on both Shaw and Telus. Apparently there is something broken somewhere in between you in OK, and us in Victoria BC. In general, an issue like this would normally be a "temporary glitch in cyberspace", e.g. a router malfunctioning somewhere. Obviously this isn't a temporary glitch, and we need to figure out how to get it fixed.

Here are the results of my "ping" and "tracert". In my tracert, hops number 8 through 16 are all on the AT&T network (att.net). Obviously we don't know what hop 17 is because I never did a tracert when it was functioning. If you do a tracert from your end, that would be very useful. To do this, you just type "tracert www.pgmusic.com" at a command prompt. If the last hop that YOU see is ALSO on the AT&T network, then it PERHAPS points to an issue with an AT&T router. If you would like me to do the tracert, you could install Teamviewer (www.teamviewer.com), then run it and let me know your ID and password. Then I can connect to your computer.
