    Hi Yet another message that I get frequently is from Sun microsystems asking me if I want to let it change something about my computer I can't remember the exact phrasiology anyway I always answer NO .What does this control ?it mentions jucheckexe as well ! .could this be the reason my freephoneonline is not connecting to the internet ? any advice or help on any of my 3 posts is greatly appreciated

    obviously NOT A GEEK ! ;)

    Please write down exactly what it says. We can't help you if we have to guess what you see.

    Sun could be Java related. Sun used to own Java and it is now owned by Oracle. Java should never be left unpatched. In fact, the best thing to do is to disable it because there are various security holes discovered almost weekly.

    If you get messages from Sun regarding jucheck, then you have definitely a very old Java version installed.

    If you do not use Java at all, uninstall all versions.

    If you do use Java, uninstall all old versions and install the latest JRE 7u15.
