SunTotal Systems: Neuron

Hello there, noob here so I'll ask forgiveness in advance. I did a search for SunTotal as well as Neuron and didn't get any hits that matched up.

My company is having us install This Program on our personal computers so as to complete some online testing. The concern I have is that our company computers are often in pretty bad shape, and I don't really trust them to tell me what to put on my own system. There are enough horror stories out there about things with built in holes for people to exploit, that I'm leary.

So, anyone here know anything about it? Is it safe? I have to do everything through IE, so that's already a nuisance. They are also telling us to download WMP Codec files.

So any advice or reassurances will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
