Superantispyware hangs when it starts to scan my network printer.
I skipped this scan but did follow all other directions.

Could you please review my logs? Thanks in advance.

...I also have a suggestion about the instructions for running MGTools. I was not able to get this to run correctly at first. The reason it wouldnt work is that I was running it from a location not on my windows drive (c:\) and it wasnt copying any files to the c:\mgtools directory. There wasnt anything in the directions about running it from the c: drive. I figured it out but someone else may not, could save everyone some time. :)

From the Read and Run First instructions:

The MGLog.zip is missing one file. Please run the C:\MGTools\GetRunKey.bat and attach the resultant log.

What issues are you having other than SAS hanging?

Oh you're right it is there. My mistake. ;)

I have attached the other log file you asked for. I did get several errors running it related to 64bit windows incompatibility but I attached the log anyway.

I do still seem to be having problems. Avira AntiVir is popping up notifications of a virus. It found object "tpg.exe" detection = TR/PCK.Katusha.M.74. It tried to delete but was denied access to the file. The only option avaliable is to try and move to quarantine. I am not selecting any option until I hear from you first.

I am also getting problems with IE randomly opening and redirecting to sites that are not my homepage. Windows has also tried to launch some random exe files that I am not familiar with. Unfortunately I didnt write the info down on the exe files and cant recreate it, as it just happens randomly. If it happens again I will respond with the file info.

Please go back to the Read and Run first instructions and download ComboFix to your desktop and run it. Attach the resultant log.

Even though it says not to run combofix if I am running 64bit Windows? I am running 64bit windows, just double checking. Thanks again.

Sorry, forgot!! Please attach the log from Avira so I can see what it is catching.

Here are the 2 logs generated today by avira.

Also it finds these on its own, via Avira Gaurd running in the background. I didnt initiate a scan to find these.

When I do initiate a complete scan it doesnt find anything until it gets to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\WPA\...\Time" and it freezes.

    Here are the logs.

See if you can use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Users\Roger\AppData\Local\Temp\Tpg.exe
    C:\Windows\Thisya.exe
    C:\Users\Roger\Local Settings\TEMP\151532850.od
    C:\Users\Roger\Local Settings\TEMP\152122097.od
    C:\Users\Roger\Local Settings\TEMP\a.dat

I don't know why Avira is crashing. You may need to uninstall it and then reinstall it.
