    Howdy,

Can anyone tell me if SAS can be installed on a different machine, say for example the machine you installed it on dies, can you reinstall on another machine?? Must be able to. If so do you need to re-register each time it's installed and will it bitch at you if you've installed on 2 different machines.

    Cheers,
    Darren

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

If you have a registrered copy of SAS, you really should be asking them this questions. Normally when you purchase software, you are licensed to use it only on one machine at any given time. Thus if your PC dies, you should be allowed to use the license on a new machine as long as you no longer use it on any other machine.

For most software, you can also purchase site or group licenses.
