    hi all at MG:confused
i have just upgraded to SAS pro and am a bit confused as it has loaded the full program in all user accounts (which is fine ) but having set each of the account settings i then went to my own account (which is the administrator account) and did a scan and it picked up any problems in all accounts so my questions are
1\ does it actual scan the hole pc from my account as it appears to, so i don't need to set my wife & kids accounts up for scan, update & live monitoring
2\ can i delete the desktop short cuts from my wife & kids accounts, less for them to mess with:-D
3\ has anyone else noticed that if you purchase superantispyware pro with lifetime updates form the link which comes up with the list after downloading the updates( if there's no updates you don't get the link) it only costs $19.95 if you pay at there website it costs $39.90;)

If you are the Admin and they're limited it should scan their accounts. But I would still login to account and scan if you have kids. Not sure about this but have seen malware forum ask users to log into the other accts for logs at times when pc was infected, so I'm guessing things can hide, maybe Tim will stop by here.

You can delete the shortcuts, you can get to the program via program files and yes less to play with.

Might be a promotion for MGs, noticed a few things had lower costs from link here in the past. CP would know more about that, think he handles promotions and such.

    hi cat-w-9-lives:wave

just as i though, i will probably continue to scan from my account but might as well set there's to scan automatically once a week just to be on the safe side

I've left the icons for now and explained there security features and to just let them do their thing

i think you got the wrong end of the stick (or i didn't explane very well:eek:) the promo comes from superantispyware themselves when you click on update, if there are updates available it downloads them then gives you the list of the updates just downloaded, at the bottom of the list is the link to purchase SAS at the reduced rate, just thought if i could save someone some dosh as i almost payed at the home site but was interrupted, then later after updating definitions i noticed the reduced rate (1/2 price in fact) so if anyone wants SAS pro, download the free version then us the link to get the pro version at 1/2 price this might be common knowledge but if not i hope i can save people some of there hard earned dosh:-D

Oh I see re promo... on renewals, longer you wait to renew online the more cost effective it is usually.
