Both teams. Even the losers take home a large chunk of cash.

The TV network that runs it. HUGE money to advertise, and advertisers line up like lemmings to throw cashat them.

Football fans. They get one more excuse to sit in front of the boob tube.

Who loses?

Most of the advertisers. I don't think most of them recoup the cost of the ads because of boosted sales. Advertising during the Superbowl seems to be partly an ego thing.

Stores of all kinds. They'll be almost empty next Sunday. They might as well declare it a holiday and shut down.

The only reason i watch the super bowl is to watch the commercials and to see which companies to boycott. If they have enough money to advertise on the super bowl they sure dont need any of mine!!!

My prediction is the game will be slow and low scoring at first, after that and the Patriots are ahead by 20 points or more the game will slow again and continue until the end.

It will be very one-sided. The same thing next year.

I agree basically, But I dont know about the slow part
I think the Patriots are gonna come out hard and fast
Even if Owens is there, he wont be able to make up for the offset of the Patriots Running and passing threat.
But if The Eagles defense can step up, McNabb might be able make some of his magical moments count

Oh, and for the record, I'm a die-hard Vikings fan, But I love a good game of football no matter who's playin and I think this is gonna be one GOOD game

Is that the $$$$$ this year, so we CAN watch? Forget those guy's, they are the entertainment "the half-time show" on the field.

I bet Owens doesn't work or play for Belichick. He does not tolerate it.

I'm not a football fan but a lot of people I know are going to be rooting for the Patriots.

CindySnoopy, will be rooting for the Eagles I'm sure, seeing as they're from Philly and she's from near Philly and therefore roots for whatever team may come from that direction, no matter how dreadful they may be.

But, like I said, I don't follow football and really couldn't care either way

 

Yeah, a lot of people make a BIG day of it. It used to be a guy thing, but women have stepped up and joined the ranks, I know my wife loves it as much if not more than I do. ( she thinks the eagles are gonna win, I'm a practical man, it's gonna be the Patriots )
