SVC Host using up lots of memory - need help checking for virus

My computer has been very sluggish recently and I'm having a lot of trouble watching movies, doing multiple applications etc. without the cpu going to 90-100% CPU usage. I found this post http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=254945, which seems to address the same issue. I have an svchost which goes up into the 500k range when this begins to happen. I have followed the steps in this post and have attached the results from MBR check and list parts. I don't really fully understand the issue so some expert advice would be much appreciated - from what I can understand, it seems as if there is an infected partition. I do not have a boot cd, which seems to be a big part of the process. How can I fix this problem? Any help is welcome, thank you so much!
