Hi, hope someone can help me.... suddenly my computer has become terribly slow, at first I thought it had something to do with internet explorer 6 because it was specially worse when it was running, but after checking my processes, I detected more than one svchost.exe running and using a lot of memory... I shut some of them of (trembling) and then my computer got a little better.... here is my hijackthis log...

this was after I ran ad-aware
    Thanks for your help.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Yes run the READ & RUN ME sticky and attach all 6 requested logs.

Note that it is normal to see multiple svchost.exe processes running. I have 5 running right now using the below amounts of memory.

    1. svchost.exe SYSTEM 3,268K
    2. svchost.exe SYSTEM 3,540K
    3. svchost.exe SYSTEM 22,956K
    4. svchost.exe NETWORK SERVICE 2,208K
    5. svchost.exe LOCAL SERVICE 3,976K

Dear Chaslang, first thank you for welcoming me... second... I did some of the things recomended in the READ & RUN ME sticky and my computer seems to be better now... I'll be testing it and if it starts to missbehave, I'll get in touch with you again, but for the moment "everything seems to be in order Sir"....
    Thanks again for your help

Well my dear Sir... In spite my deepest hope that I can at least fit in de 10 category... you just managed to let me know that I belong to the type that definitively does not understand the binary system:cry :D
