    Hi,

I have had a problem in Windows Vista for a few months now where an svchost.exe process eats up 50% of my cpu power completely halting any other applications that may be running at the same time. The computer stays in that frozen state until I decide to kill the svchost process and everything else resumes as normal.

I have gone through the entire malware scan procedure and was told that I am malware-free.

I took a snapshot of the services related to the process by right-clicking on my svchost.exe process while it was misbehaving and selecting "go to service" in task manager.

I have attached the snapshot. Any ideas?
