hi, most people would assume these is a really silly question but ive had enough bad experiences with computers so i rather be safe than sorry, the problem is that even though i have panda antivirus and adaware, they dont seem to notice anything strange in the SVCHOST.exe, and my computer keeps asking me if i want to let these program dial a conection or not,i always say no but then my internet becomes slow as hell, ive been reading forums and aparently if theres no virus in it i should let it run,but just to be in the safe side, should i let it dial?thanks

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

The important thing to know is where is svchost.exe running from. If it is the valid Windows file, it will be running from your C:\windows\system32 folder (or C:\winnt\system32 folder depending on your installation). Allow it to have internet access. But if it is running from somewhere else, you need to run the below malware cleaning procedure.

OK,SO THESE IS WHAT IT SHOWS ME WHEN PANDA STOPS IT FORM DIALING
    Warning: Unauthorized phone connection

Warning: This warning informs you that your computer is trying to connect to the Internet by dialing an unauthorized number.

Reason: While you were browsing the Internet a dialing program attempted to dial an unauthorized phone number. However, this connection attempt has been detected and blocked by the Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2008 protection.

Phone number: It displays the unauthorized phone number that was being dialed.

Program name: This displays the name of the program that is trying to dial the unauthorized number.

In the lower section the following sections are available:

Always deny the connection: Clicking on this option will permanently prevent the connection.

Always allow this connection. Clicking this option will allow the calls to take place every time the number is dialed and from then on will considered an authorized number.

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO,IS NOT MALAWARE ACCORDIG TO THE PC,SO SHOULD I LET IT DIAL?IS IT A NORMAL FUNTION?

Are you using a dialup connection with an analog modem to connect to the internet?

Is it dialing a phone number that you know?

What program name is shown? svchost.exe is not a dialing program. It must be showing some other program that is being called by svchost.exe or the svchost.exe program is not the one I stated in the system32 folder.

Is this popup occurring when you are already connected or when you are disconnected?

You need to run the READ & RUN ME procedure I gave you.
