I have a SWsetup folder which is about 3.5 gig on my computer. My understanding from checking around the internet and here is that this is a standard file which comes with HP/Compaq products. My understanding is also that these files are used when updating programs. Anyone have any info on being able to delete/clean up any of these folders?
Some seem important but others are connected to programs which were swag or deleted after buying the laptops: such as HP games, and Vongo.

If this post should be in drivers or another forum let me know and I will move them over.

I kinda looked on a forum as well and I found this.

So that's not me, but here's the link to that http://forums.techguy.org/all-other-software/453182-swsetup.html

There are some of the people that say not to delete it but I think it's OK because if you really do lose some drivers, you could just go to the HP site and download the drivers instead of keeping 3.5 gigs of "useless" stuff around.
