Software firewalls are designed to do this and alert you, until you have allowed a specific application or file through the firewall (or denied them for that matter), once over a small period of time, the software will recognise what is allowed or denied and should not alert you again (unless said application has a major update).

To do the above click "remember my answer......" and click allow and the application in question will not alert you again.

With this being a free version it also does not have many of the option the Pro version has to turn off alerts, the only thing you can do is to Allow All in the File menu if memory serves. But read below as to why this is not a good idea.


This is a security feature and if you disable the notifications then you will not know what is a legitimate application from a possible malware infection, so if wanting to turn off these notifications, then its really not worth having a software firewall in the first place to be honest.
