Ok were do I start !

    I have a Netgear DG632 Router going into a Symantec 200r Firewall

    Settings:-

    Netgear 10.10.01
In the WAN setting I have set the DMZ to port 10.10.0.5

    200r 10.10.1.100

In the STATIC IP settings I have :-

    IP 10.10.0.5
    Gateway 10.10.0.1
    Virtual server :- 10.10.1.1

    Server IP 10.10.1.1

So I now have the 200R connected and it is working OK I can create VPN to another site and it seem to run OK

My problem is I would like to get my IIS working, so have set this to 10.10.1.1 and if I try internal it display’s the page no problem , but if I try from home with the STATIC IP I get nothing DNS error or the page is not available

If I change the Virtual server to: - 10.10.0.5 I then get the login page of 200r ?

I have taken out the 200r and just used the Netgear router and it works fine with the static IP I get my IIS and the page.

Any idea what I need to change on the Symantec 200r ?

    Thanks

    Paul

you can't connect from an outside (i.e. over the internet) location to a 10.x.x.x location as it's not an internet routable IP range. You need to use the WAN IP of the router and make sure that port 80 is forwarded to 10.10.1.1 in the router config.

I know i am using my static IP address from the outside

    10.10.1.1 is my internal IIS
