   I followed the directions in the "Read and Run first" post and now I have this System Configuration Utility window on startup. It's really anoying. Please help.

   The READ & RUN ME does not not do this. Exactly what is this System Configuration Utility you are referring too. Do you mean the Window has that title in it? If so, that is something you did, not the READ ME. You are running msconfig to control startups for some reason. The READ ME (in step 7 under the HijackThis area) specifically states NOT to use msconfig and explains that you should select Normal Startup
