system 32/hal.dll corrupt or missing

    please help me!!!:cry:cry:cry i have a emachines w3506 xp and just did a system recovery, when it finished i restarted the computer, then it gave me the error system 32/hal.dll corrupt or missing, so idid it again and it did the same thing! please somebody help!!!:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry
