system all messed up

I dont know where to start ...

Im working on my gfs comp which is fubar. I think it got hit by malware, trojan thing. I used avg free, adaware and spybot in both regular and safe mode. Nothing is showing up now.

But
i can not access firewall ICS issue
i can not access internet - no ip
i can not ipconfig renew - no PCS (i think that is right)
i can not start pcs service .. when i try to start the service i get an error, same error i get when i try and start any services using services.msc
i can not use system restore in regular mode or safe mode - error message says restart and try again which does nothing.
i can not open IE - it seems to pop open for a second before it closes.

XP - compaq presario s5300NX -

im reading and trying stuff and reading more .. but i can not d/l new tools, or upload any logs or such. i havnt tried to use the cd writer yet .. and im scared to try

anyhow - i dont know what i can do - i do not have disks, sadly, so if the compaq d: recovery stuff doesnt work i guess ill have to go to the store. (the comp was a christmas gift to my gfs sister - older and i had nothing to do with buying or setting it up - i just have to pick up the peices).

if this is in the wrong section i appologise.

i seen someone else mention these and they are the one i was trying to sort out before system got all buggerd up.

same thing .. the dialer.sap was supposed to in a folder that contained nothing. in locals/temp internet files i think.

scans are now clear.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Note: If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

You may need to download to a different computer and transfer via cd or thumb drive ---> just be aware that some malware will try to write to the thumb drive.

i have just noticed that i can not copy / paste files and am now presently copying files to a flash drive using dos. the system is corrupt needs to be replaced i am guess.

Are you saying that you were able to transfer the scans to the infected machine but are having a difficult time getting the logs? Or are you saying that you cannot copy/paste/slide the programs onto the infected machines desktop?
