    Greetings,

I recently replaced a hard drive and added a slave at the same time. All was well for a week or so. Inexplicably, the system began crashing. I ran a debug in safe mode. Debug is telling me the cause is win32k.sys. I'm guessing I should just reformat and and reload XP. But I would really like to understand the "why" of this problem. Thanks for any help.

When did these problems occur and how long ago did you get your HD?

Also what have you done already?

I did try an XP repair but it created problems with my graphics card(lost the drivers? etc...). I purchased the hdd's about a month ago. I have had two instances almost exactly one year apart with this computer. Last time was August of 2006. I booted up and got a error message that c:windows/system32 blah blah was corrupted or missing. I reloaded XP and everything was fine.
I have also wondered if perhaps my power supply needs to be upgraded.
