System Defender Removal

    My PC (XP Pro) was recently infected with the System-Defender spyware. This major nuisance is difficult to remove. Some of the most popular anti-virus programs are unable to identify and remove this virus.

    However, I tried Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and found it to be an effective tool for the removal of the System-Defender virus. This information (and the following link) are provided with the hope that someone may be able to benefit from my experience.
