Problems started about 8 days ago, after tried to find and download Microsoft Word from multiple sources.
Several malignant installed themselves, including EasyHotspot and Noteup.
Any open browser overrun with pop-ups.
Homepage and search engine both changed.
Ran read me and run. When attaching logs noticed malwarebytes log missing (due to original scan being a free trial rather than free version scan). Made critical mistake of running malewarebytes scan again and removing selected threats, rather than posting and explaining situation. Now windows does not boot up properly. Instead the image attached is shown in bottom left hand corner of screen-due to failure to perform procedure as instructed. Not sure whether help will be offered under these circumstances, or whether to post in this forum or elsewhere. Apologies in any case. Posted anyway is the above-mentioned image and logs I was able to access because they survived in a draft of this message.

Since you cannot boot up into Windows properly, we cannot actually work on malware removal. So before I have to send you off to the Software Forum to see if they can help you get Windows 10 to boot, perhaps you should look at the below Microsoft link. I'm not sure what recovery media you may or may not have so I can only refer you to this.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/windows-10-recovery-options

May be one of the below three options will be possible for you

    • Your PC won't start and you've created a recovery drive. - Use a recovery drive to restore or reset your PC
    • Your PC won't start and you haven't created a recovery drive. - Use installation media to restore or reset your PC
    • Your PC won't start, you haven't created a recovery drive, and resetting your PC didn't work. - Use installation media to reinstall

If you can get to the Advanced options menu a System Restore may be possible. Also there could be other options available ( like possibly booting to a Command Prompt where we could possible do some malware removal ).
