system frozen at sartup

    My Wndows XP freezes at startup. The keyboard nor mouse will work. Can't sart in safe mode. Worked fine last night when I shut it down. Any ideas? Thanks...

    Can you put in the Xp Disk and choose the repair Option?? Could the hard drive have gone out of it?? When you put in the disk if the harddrive is bad it should give you a error message.

    Further,Try pressing f2 on startup and check in the bios if the hard drive is detected.
