    HI Adrynalyne,
Attempted above but ended up deleting the no, and doing scanreg /restore.So I am back to old no . I have not previously changed any part of a key, only values. Am I edting or what. Please take me step by step ,the easiest way, if you donn't mind as I am aware of the consequences if it is wrongly done. I have gone through" help" in registry and found it hard to follow. TY again.

    Hi Adrynalyne,
Just to let you know that regsvr32.exe jscript.dll has been sorted. When run I get:DLL RegisterServer in jscript.dll suceeded. Also I notice that there is a yellow mark over the Windows Help icon at top left-hand corner when I open it. Thought you may need to know this. TY

I just downloaded that file. There's nothing wrong with it. Perhaps you do not have WinZip installed. The readme file in the ZIP gives this instructions:

To use this program, extract the file to a folder of your choice (Windows\Help is a good choice).
Locate TSHOOT.EXE, Right-click the file and choose "Send to Desktop (as shortcut)" option.
Rename the shortcut to whatever you want.
Drag the icon from the desktop to the Start Button and release your mouse button. The icon will now be in the top portion of your Start Menu.
Click the icon to run the Windows 98 trouble shooter.
Many thanks to Brian A. for pointing me in the right direction,

    Hi Chaslang,
TY again. Now I do have Winzip, but I also have Download Accelerater Pro which comes on automically and is dictating desktop(and is not allowing me to change to Windows\Help) for TSHOOT.EXE. I usually Download all to: My Downloads folder. Disconnect from Int, Virus Scan, then Install . So I am thinking of Uninstalling DAP,( which I have only re installed 2/3 days ago, and this is first download since then) Manually downloading TSHOOT.EXE Extract it to Windows\Help with Winzip, and then reinstall DAP. Will you post back and say if I am carrying out proper proceedure. TYagain

    Hi,
All's Well. There was some file missing from Winzip probably deleted by me "as usual" in the past . So I now have TSHOOT.EXE on my start menu. A big TY to all who helped especially Chaslang(who stuck this out when I had lost all hope) also adrynalyne, and Kodo.
You all certainly deserve the Silver Medal this time. And I will recommend this site to all my friends ,but of course not all at once Ha! Ha!
